Patient Terms and Conditions
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and emergencies may require you to reschedule your appointment at short notice. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we kindly ask that you do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer your slot to another patient in need. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, a cancellation fee may be charged.
Failed Appointments
Missing an appointment without prior notification may incur a cancellation fee and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If missed appointments become a recurring issue, we may require prepayment for future treatments to secure your booking.
Lateness
To provide you with the highest quality care, it's important that appointments start on time. If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in needing to reschedule your appointment to ensure we have adequate time to deliver your treatment without impacting the next patient's appointment.
Price & Payment
Payment is expected at the time of your treatment. We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, Q-Card, AfterPay. Unpaid balances may incur late payment fees and collection charges.
The price of services are indicated on invoices provided by Kōwhai Coast Dental to you, in respect to the services supplied. You are responsible for payment of all services rendered on your behalf and on behalf of your dependents. Payment is due at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made. The price is increased by the amount of any GST and other taxes and duties which may be applicable, unless such taxes are expressly included in any quotation given by Kōwhai Coast Dental.
Financial Information & Default
If you owe Kōwhai Coast Dental any money for services, you agree to indemnify Kōwhai Coast Dental from and against all costs and disbursements incurred in recovering the debt (including, but not limited to, internal administration fees, legal costs on a solicitor and own client basis, Kōwhai Coast Dental’s collection agency costs, and bank dishonour fees). You authorise Kōwhai Coast Dental or Kōwhai Coast Dental’s agent to access, collect, retain and use any financial information for the purposes of assessing your creditworthiness, in the case of long-term finance payment plans. You authorise Kōwhai Coast Dental to disclose financial information about you to any other credit provider or reporting agency for the purposes of providing or obtaining a credit reference check, debt collection, or notifying a default by you.
