What services does Kōwhai Coast Dental offer?
We provide a comprehensive range of dental services, including full mouth examinations, CEREC® one visit crowns, hygiene therapy, 2D and 3D imaging, root canal therapy, traditional crowns and bridges, dental implants, teeth whitening, veneers, and more.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by calling us or by using our online booking system.
What are your operating hours?
We are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Please contact us for any inquiries about our opening days and times.
What payment options do you offer?
We accept EFTPOS, cash, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Additionally, we offer payment plans through Q Card & AfterPay. We provide WINZ estimates and ACC coverage for accidental injuries.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes, we accept a range of dental insurance plans, including Southern Cross. We recommend checking with your insurance provider for specific coverage details.
How do I care for my teeth after a dental procedure?
Post-procedure care varies depending on the treatment. Generally, it includes maintaining good oral hygiene, avoiding hard or sticky foods for a specified period, and following any specific instructions provided by your dentist. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions tailored to your treatment.
What is your approach to dental anxiety?
We understand that visiting the dentist can be stressful. Our team is committed to providing a calm and welcoming environment. We offer dental sedation options to help ensure a comfortable experience for anxious patients.
Do you provide emergency dental services?
Yes, we offer urgent dental services for emergencies. If you are experiencing a dental emergency, please contact us immediately, and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as possible.
What is the CEREC® one visit crown procedure?
The CEREC® procedure involves creating and placing a custom dental crown in a single visit. Using advanced imaging and milling technology, we design, produce, and fit your crown in just one appointment.
