Dr. Les Chan
Dentist + Director
Highly experienced, Les graduated from the University of Otago, School of Dentistry in 1997, he has broad experience in positions both overseas in the UK and here in New Zealand, in both the public sector and private practice.
His specialised skillset includes oral surgery, intravenous sedation, crown and bridgework, restoring dental implants and orthodontics.
Les moved to the Warkworth area in 2006, and has been practicing here since. He is an honorary life member of the New Zealand Dental Association – Auckland Branch, having been an involved member of the board for many years.
With a focus on tailoring personalised care to his clients, Les is happy to have created a practice where the approach is to offer a higher standard of care in a small, friendly and relaxed team environment.
Dr. Yogi Singh
Dentist + Director
A part of the Warkworth community for over 25 years, Yogi enjoys interacting with his patients and their families. An approach that has developed his philosophy to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for each client he treats.
Graduating from the University of Otago, School of Dentistry in 1999, Yogi provides all facets of dentistry from comprehensive dental examinations to restorative treatments, including crowns and implant restorations.
With a focus on professional growth, Yogi embraces continuous learning, along with new technology and techniques to enable his ethos of patient driven care to positively impact lives by providing essential dental care and improving oral health.
Yogi and the team are very happy to be setting a new standard of dental care and client experience in Warkworth.
Kim Denston
Oral Health Therapist
Completing a Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health Therapy in 2016, along with five years as a Dental Assistant in Auckland, Kim has a wealth of experience, knowledge and interest in Dental Hygiene.
Away from the practice Kim is kept busy with a young family and has a keen interest in the water and fishing.
Jackie Gordon
Dental Assistant
Jackie has been working as a Dental Assistant, predominantly with Les Chan for over ten years and has a kind and gentle manner.
With a love of the outdoors, Jackie enjoys her bountiful garden, being out on the water and spending time with her family.
Lydia Baker
Dental Assistant
Confident and professional, Lydia works alongside Yogi as a valued Dental Assistant.
When she’s not at Kowhai Coast Dental, you will find Lydia enjoying a range of outdoor pursuits and spending quality time with her pup Nala.
Jane Worthington
Practice Manager
Bringing experience from many different sectors, Jane works alongside the Kōwhai Coast Dental team to ensure the daily operations of the practice run smoothly.
Jane enjoys spending time with her family and friends, competing with her quiz team, training with her gym family and any time at the beach.
Donna Baker
Client Concierge
The friendly voice and smiling face that greets you, Donna welcomes our clients and assists with any queries with ease.
Her interests outside of the practice include fishing, spending time with family, and caring for her fur-babies.
